Early comics were wild… A lot of the characters were so quirky, yet lovable. The stories were more about fun than anything else. The comic book world was finding its way, experimenting and taking creative chances. Comprised of a few small-press publishers combining forces like a super team, the Indie Comics Creators Association (ICCA) celebrates the pioneering spirit of a young medium.
We’re dedicated to making comics with one eye on nostalgia, and another eye on innovation and creativity. Expect new characters that feel comfortably familiar, new worlds, twists on beloved themes, and stories with an eclectic mix of exciting adventure, whimsy, and a little thing we like to think of as hope.
