It’s dark outside, everything’s closed and you can’t invite your friends around for a drink. But you CAN escape into a novel and, if you’re lucky, you could soon have an extra six on your bookshelf. Which of these novels would you read first?

The Zoo by Jamie Mollart: James Marlowe, an advertising director, loses his sanity and control to a set of characters named The Zoo, his return to sanity lies behind the fantasy.

Walrus Mutterer by Mandy Haggith: North Britain, Iron Age. Rian is enslaved and forced to embark on a perilous sea voyage where the limits of her endurance will be tested by her captor and by their mysterious passenger.

The winner will receive all six books, signed by the author, plus a packet of best Lancashire blend ‘Truestory’ tea, posted to a UK address as soon as possible after the competition closes. Entrants will be offered additional opportunities to discover these authors’ writing.
