Vato Tuned November ECU Giveaway: Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor. The giveaway is run by Vato Tuned LLC, 14208 Hertford Shire, San Antonio, TX 78245, USA, [email protected] ("Sponsor").
2. Eligibility. Open to individuals who are 18 or older, or the age of majority where they live if that is older, at the time of entry. Not open to residents of Quebec, Italy, Brazil, or any country or region under US sanctions (including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions), or anywhere the law forbids this giveaway or requires it to be registered or bonded. Employees of Sponsor and members of their immediate families or households cannot enter. Void where prohibited.
3. Entry period. The giveaway starts at 4:00 pm Central Time on Monday, November 2, 2026 and ends at 11:45 pm Central Time on Sunday, November 29, 2026 ("Entry Period"). Sponsor's clock is the official clock.
4. How to enter. Enter your name and email address on this giveaway page. This gives entries as shown on the page. After entering, you can earn bonus entries: 5 entries for following @vatotuned on Instagram, 3 entries for commenting your car on the Instagram giveaway post, 1 entry for following Vato Tuned on Facebook, 1 entry for subscribing to Vato Tuned on YouTube, and bonus entries for each eligible friend who enters through your personal share link, as shown on this page. Bonus actions are optional. Sharing your link earns nothing on its own; bonus entries are given only when an eligible person enters through it.
Free mail-in entry. Hand-print your name, email address, phone number, country, and state or province on a 3x5 inch card, and mail it in an envelope with enough postage to: Vato Tuned ECU Giveaway, 14208 Hertford Shire, San Antonio, TX 78245, USA. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 29, 2026 and received by December 4, 2026. A mail-in entry receives the same number of entries as an online entry, and the entrant can then earn bonus entries with the email address on the card. Limit one entry per person, whether online or by mail. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected mail.
5. Checking entries. Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube actions are checked by hand using the name and email given, and the potential winner must give their Instagram handle for the potential winner. Bonus entries that were not earned are removed, and if that changes the result, the drawing is repeated. Entries made with more than one email address, fake or throwaway email addresses, bots, or any other way of getting around these rules will be disqualified.
6. Prize. One (1) Vato Tuned Honda OBD1 PnP Standalone ECU, part number VT-ECU-HOBD1PNP-WBX-WFI-NDBW: on-board wideband controller (LSU 4.9 sensor not included), internal WiFi, no drive-by-wire. Approximate retail value: $599 USD. The prize is for off-road and race use only. Installation and tuning are not included.
Sponsor ships the prize free to a winner in the United States. A winner outside the United States must pay shipping, customs duties, import taxes, and any other fees before the prize ships. If those are not paid within 14 days of being told the amount, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is drawn. Sponsor is not responsible for customs delays or for a country refusing the import.
The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize.
7. Drawing and odds. On or about Monday, November 30, 2026 at 12:00 pm Central Time, Sponsor will draw one potential winner at random from all eligible entries received. Each entry is one chance, so the odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner notification. The potential winner will be contacted by email. They must reply within 72 hours, confirm their country and eligibility, and sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release, plus a publicity release where the law allows one. A potential winner from Canada must correctly answer a time-limited math skill-testing question before being confirmed. If the potential winner does not reply in time, cannot be verified, or does not meet these rules, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is drawn.
9. Winner announcement. The confirmed winner's first name and state or country will be announced on or about December 3, 2026 on Vato Tuned's Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
10. Release and limitation of liability. By entering, entrants release Sponsor and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from taking part in the giveaway or from receiving, installing, or using the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, lost or incomplete entries, or errors in printing or posting these rules.
11. Changes or cancellation. If fraud, technical problems, or anything else outside Sponsor's control harms the fairness of the giveaway, Sponsor may change, suspend, or cancel it. If it is cancelled, the winner will be drawn from eligible entries received before the problem.
12. Disputes. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
13. Privacy. Entry information is used to run the giveaway and to contact the winner. Sponsor sends marketing email only to entrants who tick the marketing consent box, and they can unsubscribe at any time.
14. Platforms. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or run by Instagram, Facebook, Meta, YouTube, Google, or KingSumo, and is not associated with them. Entrants release those companies from all liability related to the giveaway. Questions go to Sponsor at [email protected].
