Back to School 2024 Giveaway
Official Rules:
By entering and participating in the 2024 Illustrative Mathematics Back to School Giveaway, participant (“Entrant”) fully and unconditionally agrees to accept and be bound by these “Official Rules” and by all decisions of Illustrative Mathematics (“Sponsor”), which include, without limitation, decisions regarding eligibility, winners and the interpretation of the terms used in these Official Rules, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Visit (the IM Social Media Pages–Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter) between 12:00:00 am PDT on August 1, 2024 and 11:59:59 pm PDT on September 17, 2024 (the "Promotion Period") and follow the instructions posted on IM’s social media pages to enter via the KingSumo entry form.
2. ENTRY DETAILS: An Entrant may submit one (1) giveaway entry per email address. Each Entrant will be required to enter their name and email address, before clicking the Enter Giveaway button. Entrants may also gain more entries by following the instructions on the KingSumo giveaway page.
3. ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to enter the Illustrative Mathematics Back to School Giveaway, an Entrant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older, live in the continental U.S. and have a valid email address. Limit one (1) original entry set per eligible person. Entrant must enter their own first and last name and email address for the entry to be deemed valid. If more than one entry form is submitted per eligible person, all entries submitted by that Entrant will be deemed invalid. All entries submitted by individuals younger than eighteen (18) years of age will be deemed invalid. If more or less information is submitted in the entry than what has been requested, an entry may be deemed invalid. All entries must be received during the Promotion Period to be eligible for a prize. By entering the giveaway, entrant opts in to receive email newsletters from Illustrative Mathematics.
Entrant represents and warrants that all information provided by Entrant in connection with the Illustrative Mathematics Back to School Giveaway is true, accurate and complete as of the date of entry. Sponsor reserves the right, at any time and in their sole discretion, to disqualify and/or deem an Entrant or entry ineligible to participate in the Illustrative Mathematics Back to School Giveaway.
Entrants must be teachers who are currently teaching math at a school in grades K–12. Entrants must be a current 2024-2025 school year teacher of any subject. All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm PDT on September 17, 2024.
4. PRIZE: Five (5) Winners will be selected via random drawing on or about September 17, 2024. The Winners will each receive a total of $250 in school supplies mailed to the address provided after being selected. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prizes.
5. GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS / PRIZE CLAIMS: The Winning Entrants will be notified via the email address submitted through their KingSumo form entry following entry validation. If Illustrative Mathematics is unable to contact a giveaway winner from entry information within 72 hours of email notification, the contest winner forfeits his/her prize, and another Winning Entrant will be selected via random drawing. The Winning Entrant will be expected to provide additional contact information for the Winning person, if necessary. The Winning person(s) will receive their prize within two (2) weeks of when the wishlist is submitted after the giveaway ends. No substitution, assignment or transfer of any prizes will be permitted, except at the sole discretion of Illustrative Mathematics, which reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with cash or another prize of comparable or greater value. By entering this giveaway, each potential winner consents to the use of his or her name for publicity purposes by Illustrative Mathematics without additional compensation or permission, where permitted by law. If prize is forfeited for any reason, Illustrative Mathematics reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate potential winner from among the remaining eligible entries.
6. RELEASE: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or Instagram, or KingSumo, or any other social media platform or other type of platform. All Entrants are providing information to Illustrative Mathematics. Participation in this promotion is subject to the Official Rules. Sponsor has the right to disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Additionally, the views and opinions expressed by followers on social media webpages do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Illustrative Mathematics. Illustrative Mathematics is not in any way liable for followers’ words, submissions or actions. Illustrative Mathematics retains the exclusive right to, at its sole discretion, determine whether or not to publish, remove or edit a posted response.

These rules have been modified by the Creator of this giveaway "Illustrative Mathematics Back to School Supplies Giveaway". Sumo Group, Inc. (d.b.a. "KingSumo") accepts no legal liability or responsibility for errors, falsities, or unfulfilled winnings due to the Creator.
