Eligibility: Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels’ Edmonton’s Best Hotels “Win the Ultimate K-Days Experience for Four” (“Contest”) is open only to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry, except employees, officers and directors of Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels Ltd. (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sales representatives, advertising, sales promotions and judging agencies, contest administrator (“Administrator”) webmasters/suppliers, and their respective immediate family members (spouse and children) or household members (whether or not related). The Contest is subject to all applicable provincial, territorial, municipal, and local laws and regulations and is void outside of Canada. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest will be directed to Sponsor, not Facebook or Instagram.

Contest Period: Contest will run from June 7, 2022 (12:01 AM Mountain Time) through July 12, 2022, (11:45 PM Mountain Time). Winner will be notified no later than July 13, 2022, and will have twenty-four (24) hours to claim their prize.

Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules, and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all, or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the winner.

How to Enter: Participants can enter the Contest via the contest entry page on the Edmonton’s Best Hotels website. Entrants are also encouraged to LIKE and FOLLOW the Edmonton’s Best Hotels Facebook page, Instagram account and sign up for their mailing list (Insider). One entry per person.
Entry Requirements: Entrant must have a valid email address to enter. The entrant must provide her/his first and last name, city of residence, and be the age of majority in their province at time of entry.
Enter using a valid email account registered in your name. Multiple entrants may not share the same email account. In the event of a dispute, the natural person associated with the email account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. No robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated entries (collectively “automated entries”). Automated entries, or multiple entries by the same person/e-mail address, or entries that have been tampered with will result in disqualification of all such entries. All Entry materials submitted become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. By submitting an Entry, entrant acknowledges that his/her Entry may be posted across any or all of Sponsor’s digital and social media assets, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Personal information collected is subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy here.
If entering via a mobile phone or other web-enabled device and using your wireless carrier’s network, standard data charges from your wireless carrier may apply. Entries must follow the Entry Requirements outlined below. Photos must also comply with any applicable submission requirements as dictated by the social media platform used for Entry.

Odds of Winning: Odds of winning a Prize depend on the total number of eligible Entries received.
Prize Award Procedures: The potential winner is subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Potential winner will be notified by Sponsor or Administrator through the email address provided at the time of registration and will be required to respond to that email with their complete mailing address and date of birth within 24 hours of email notification or prize will be forfeited and one secondary potential prize winner will be selected. Potential winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where permitted) within 24 hours of request. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and the prize will not be awarded. If any Prize or Prize-related communication is returned as undeliverable, Prize will be forfeited. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of Facebook account, mailing address, e-mail address, and/or telephone number of entrants. Any unclaimed or undeliverable Prize will not be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable. No cash redemptions or substitutions permitted, except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winner cannot have won any contests from Edmonton’s Best Hotels in the last 18 months.
General Conditions: By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees (a) to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and Contest agencies, Administrator, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability, for any damages, injuries or losses of any kind to person(s), including death, or property, arising directly or indirectly from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or his/her participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity; and (b) to grant (and to confirm such grant in writing promptly upon request) to Sponsor and those acting under Sponsor’s authority the right to the use of his/her name, photograph, likeness, voice, image, statements and biographical information at any time or times for advertising, trade, publicity and contest purposes in any media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the World Wide Web, without review, notification, approval or additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. All taxes on prizes, if any, are solely the responsibility of the winners. All federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply. By entering, each entrant agrees that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Alberta, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, each entrant consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, provincial, and local courts in Edmonton, AB.
Limitations of Liability: Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, or miscommunication, or failed computer, network, telephone, satellite, or cable hardware, software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of Entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information.
Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of website. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds may be tampering with the entry process or operation of the Contest or website, may be acting in violation of the terms of the website or these Official Rules or may be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, abuse or harass any other person. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Contest or downloading or copying materials from or use of website. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which, in sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, or if due to any technical, production or other error, more prizes are claimed or awarded than are described in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, and randomly select winners from entries received prior to action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. No more than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules will be awarded. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor or its agents.
IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR, ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES OR RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR CONTEST AGENCIES OR ADMINISTRATOR OR THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES OR AGENTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THIS CONTEST, INCLUDING ENTRANTS ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE CONTEST INTERNET SITE OR DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM SAID SITE. You can request a full list of the winners for a particular Contest by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope with proper postage affixed to: Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels Ltd., 2707 Ellwood Drive SW, Edmonton, AB, T6X 0P7. Ensure you note which Contest you’d like to receive the Winners List for. Requests must be received within 6 months of the end date of the Contest in question. The winner will be sent after winner has been verified.
