Giveaway Rules

1. Eligibility

  • The Savvy Local Scavenger Hunt (the "Hunt") is open to all individuals aged 16 years or older.
  • The Hunt is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
  • Employees of Savvy Local and its partners, including participating businesses, are not eligible to win the grand prize.

2. How to Enter & Earn Points

Participation in the Hunt is free and requires a valid email address. You can earn entries into the grand prize draw by completing the following actions, which will be tracked by our system.

  • Primary Entry: Sign up for the scavenger hunt on our official website. (1 entry)
  • Social Media Entries:
  • Follow @savvylocal on Instagram: Earn 100 points.
  • Follow @savvylocal on TikTok: Earn 100 points.
  • Tag a friend in the official giveaway post comments: Earn 250 points per tag.
  • Share a photo or video from a participating business using the hashtag #SavvyRexburgHunt and tagging @savvylocal: Earn 500 points per post.
  • Conversion Entries:
  • Tier 1: Redeem 1 Deal: Visit a participating business's booth, redeem their exclusive deal via your Savvy Local account, and earn 500 points.
  • Tier 2: Redeem 3 Deals: Redeem a total of three deals from different businesses and earn an additional 1,500 points.
  • Tier 3: Redeem 5+ Deals: Redeem five or more deals from different businesses and earn an additional 5,000 points.

All actions must be completed during the official scavenger hunt dates to be valid.


3. Prize Details

  • Grand Prize: The winner will receive the "Ultimate Rexburg Local Prize Bundle," valued at over $X,XXX. This includes a diamond item from Main Street Diamonds and a collection of gift cards and products from all participating businesses.
  • Winner Selection: The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries. The more points you earn, the higher your chances of winning.
  • Winner Notification: The winner will be notified via the email provided during signup within 24 hours of the drawing. The winner must respond to the email and claim the prize within 72 hours, or a new winner may be selected.

4. General Terms & Conditions

  • Sponsor: The Savvy Local Scavenger Hunt is sponsored by Savvy Local.
  • Liability Release: By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Savvy Local and its partners from any liability or injury that may arise from participation.
  • Content Rights: By participating and using the official hashtag, entrants grant Savvy Local a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use and display any submitted user-generated content for marketing purposes without compensation.
  • Social Platform Disclaimer: This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, or any other social media platform.
  • Verification: All entries are subject to verification by Savvy Local. The sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these rules.
  • Modification of Terms: Savvy Local reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Hunt at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
