1. Promoter
This free prize draw is organised by The Martial Arts Method Ltd, Royds Mill, 20 Calder Road, Mirfield, West Yorkshire, WF14 8PJ.

The prize draw is administered using the KingSumo giveaway platform.
2. The Giveaway
The Martial Arts Method is giving one lucky winner six months of martial arts membership, completely free, including a full welcome pack.
The advertised indicative prize value is £545, based on six months of the standard two-class membership (£75 per month) and a £95 welcome pack. The actual value may vary depending on the recipient’s eligible membership programme.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter.
3. Who Can Enter?
The giveaway is open to individuals aged 18 or over who meet at least one of the following requirements:
Adults may enter for themselves or on behalf of an eligible child.
Children cannot enter independently. Their parent or legal guardian must submit the entry.
The intended prize recipient must be eligible to participate in a suitable TMAM training programme at our Mirfield school.
Employees of The Martial Arts Method Ltd and members of their immediate households cannot enter.
4. Giveaway Dates
The giveaway closes at 12:00pm GMT on Sunday 1st November 2026.
Entries must be submitted and confirmed before the closing time.
Entries received after the deadline will not be included.
The closing date will not be changed except where exceptional circumstances permitted under applicable promotional rules make a change necessary.
5. How to Enter
Entry is completely free.
To enter:
Each person may submit one initial entry.
KingSumo also provides an optional referral feature. Entrants may share their personal referral link with friends. For each eligible new participant who enters through that link and confirms their entry, the referring entrant receives three additional entries into the draw.
Referral entries increase an entrant’s chances of winning but do not guarantee a prize.
Sharing is entirely optional, and entrants can participate without referring anyone.
Duplicate, fraudulent, automated or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified following reasonable verification. Only genuine, eligible entries and valid referral bonuses will be included in the draw.
6. The Prize
One winner will receive:
The prize is available to both new and existing students.
If the winner is a new student:
The prize recipient will receive six months of regular classes without paying membership fees during the prize period, together with the advertised welcome pack.
If the winner is an existing student:
The prize recipient will receive six months of their existing regular membership without the applicable membership fees being charged.
Where membership payments are included within a family account, the appropriate value of the winner’s membership will be credited or deducted from that account for the six-month prize period.
An existing student will also receive the advertised welcome pack. Where they already own the standard welcome-pack items, an alternative selection of TMAM equipment or merchandise of equivalent value may be agreed.
The prize covers normal coached group classes and standard membership benefits. Optional private lessons, additional equipment purchases and services outside the normal membership programme are not included.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or sold. It may be assigned to an eligible member of the winner’s immediate household by agreement with the promoter.
7. Choosing the Winner
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries using KingSumo’s random winner-selection system.
The draw is planned for Sunday 1 November 2026 at 12:00pm.
All valid initial entries and qualifying referral bonus entries will be included in accordance with the published entry mechanism.
The promoter will retain appropriate evidence of the random selection.
The chance of winning depends on the total number of valid entries, including referral bonus entries.
8. Contacting the Winner
The winner will be contacted using the email address supplied during entry.
The winner will be asked to confirm their eligibility and arrange their prize.
The winner should respond within seven days of the initial notification.
The Martial Arts Method will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected winner before considering a redraw.
If the selected entrant is ineligible, declines the prize or cannot be contacted despite reasonable attempts, another eligible winner may be randomly selected.
There will be no charge to claim the prize.
9. Receiving the Prize
The winner will be contacted to arrange a suitable training programme and starting date.
The prize arrangements will normally be confirmed within 30 days of the draw, and the six-month membership will then be provided over the agreed training period.
The winner will be offered age-appropriate classes in accordance with the school’s timetable, safeguarding arrangements and reasonable participation requirements.
There is no obligation to continue as a paying member after the six-month prize period.
Any future paid membership must be separately agreed with The Martial Arts Method.
10. Winner Announcement
The Martial Arts Method may announce that the Halloween giveaway winner has been selected and contacted.
To demonstrate that the prize has been awarded fairly, the promoter may make the winner’s surname and county available on request in accordance with applicable UK promotional rules.
Entrants may object to the publication of their personal information or request that the amount of information disclosed is reduced by emailing [email protected].
The promoter may still be required to provide information about the award privately to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested.
Photographs, testimonials or other promotional use of the winner’s image will require separate appropriate permission.
11. Personal Information and Marketing
Personal information supplied when entering will be used to administer the giveaway, verify entries, contact the winner and arrange the prize.
Information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and the promoter’s privacy notice.
Marketing emails from The Martial Arts Method are optional and separate from entering the prize draw.
Entrants do not need to agree to receive marketing emails to participate or win.
Where an entrant actively opts in, The Martial Arts Method may send information about classes, events, promotions and special offers.
Entrants who agree to marketing may unsubscribe at any time.
Personal information will not be used for marketing solely because someone has entered the giveaway.
The giveaway platform, KingSumo, also processes entry information under its own applicable privacy terms.
12. General Conditions
The promoter will administer the giveaway fairly and take reasonable steps to prevent fraudulent entries or misuse of the entry system.
Technical problems outside the promoter’s reasonable control will be handled fairly, with reasonable steps taken to avoid disadvantaging legitimate entrants.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
The promoter will make reasonable arrangements to provide the advertised prize as promised.
Any exceptional amendment to the rules must comply with applicable promotional requirements and must not unfairly disadvantage existing entrants.
13. Facebook, Instagram and KingSumo
This giveaway is organised and funded by The Martial Arts Method Ltd.
It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
KingSumo provides the online giveaway administration platform but is not responsible for supplying the martial arts membership prize.
14. Governing Law
This giveaway is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
These terms do not affect any rights entrants may have under applicable consumer protection or data protection law.
By entering, participants confirm that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
