The San Jose Sharks Home Opener Ticket Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Phoong Law Corp. (“Sponsor”). By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions concerning the administration of the Sweepstakes, which are final and binding, subject to applicable law.
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry.
Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, and companies involved in administering or promoting the Sweepstakes, together with their immediate family members and persons living in their households, are not eligible. Immediate family includes spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses.
The winner must be able to receive the tickets electronically and attend the game in San Jose, California, on October 1, 2026. Transportation and accommodations are not provided.
The Sweepstakes begins when the giveaway entry form opens on September 30, 2026, and ends October 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (“Entry Period”).
All entries, including qualifying referral entries, must be received before the deadline. Sponsor’s entry system is the official timekeeping device.
Complete and submit the online entry form on the Sweepstakes page during the Entry Period. Provide accurate information, including a valid email address that you can monitor on the morning of October 1, 2026.
Limit one primary entry per person. Duplicate primary entries, including entries submitted using different email addresses, are prohibited.
You may earn one additional entry for each eligible friend who completes a valid entry during the Entry Period through your unique referral link, following the instructions on the Sweepstakes page. Sharing the link alone does not earn an additional entry.
Referrals must be to people you know who are at least 21 years old and otherwise eligible. Self-referrals, fictitious accounts, unsolicited bulk messages, and automated or fraudulent referrals are prohibited. No purchase or payment is required to earn a referral entry.
Entries generated through bots, scripts, macros, or other automated methods are void. Incomplete, late, fraudulent, or otherwise noncompliant entries will not be accepted.
One winner will receive four tickets to the San Jose Sharks versus Florida Panthers game at SAP Center in San Jose, California, scheduled for Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
The estimated approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the entire four-ticket prize is $400. This is an estimate, not a verified face value. Actual value may vary according to seat location and ticket pricing. No payment will be made for any difference between estimated and actual value.
Seat locations are determined by Sponsor. The prize includes admission tickets only. Transportation, lodging, parking, food, beverages, and all other expenses are the winner’s responsibility.
The prize may not be sold, assigned, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another prize recipient. The winner may use the remaining three tickets for guests, subject to applicable ticket and venue requirements.
Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable, subject to applicable law. The winner may not request a substitution.
Sponsor will select one preliminary winner in a random drawing from all eligible primary and referral entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will take place on October 1, 2026, after 9:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Selection does not establish a person as the confirmed winner until eligibility has been verified and all acceptance requirements have been satisfied.
The preliminary winner will be notified at the email address provided with the entry.
The preliminary winner must reply to the notification email within two hours of the time it is sent, confirming acceptance of the prize and the ability to attend the game. Entrants are responsible for monitoring their inbox and spam or junk folders.
Sponsor may request proof of age, residency, identity, and any eligibility or release documents permitted by law. Any additional requirements and their deadlines will be stated in the notification.
If the preliminary winner does not respond within two hours, cannot be contacted, is ineligible, declines the prize, cannot receive the tickets or attend the game, or fails to meet the stated acceptance requirements, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate preliminary winner selected at random.
Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to confirm a winner and deliver the tickets before the game. If no eligible winner can be confirmed in time, the prize may remain unawarded, subject to applicable law.
Tickets will be delivered electronically after the winner’s eligibility and acceptance have been confirmed and before the scheduled game.
The winner must have a valid email address and any account, compatible device, or ticketing application required to accept and access the tickets. Sponsor will provide available transfer instructions.
The winner and guests must comply with ticket issuer and venue policies, including admission, security, conduct, and any applicable age restrictions.
The event’s date, time, participants, and other details are subject to change by the event organizer. If the game is rescheduled, the tickets will be subject to the ticket issuer’s rescheduling policies. If the game is canceled, Sponsor will follow applicable ticket issuer policies and legal requirements. Sponsor does not guarantee a cash replacement.
The winner is responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with accepting or using the prize. Sponsor may request information needed to satisfy applicable tax reporting requirements.
Information collected through the entry form will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, contact the preliminary winner, deliver the prize, and for other purposes described in Sponsor’s published Privacy Policy and any separate consent provided by the entrant.
Any optional marketing consent is separate from entry and does not affect eligibility or chances of winning.
Except where prohibited by law, accepting the prize grants Sponsor permission to publish the winner’s name, city and state, and prize information to announce the result without additional compensation. Use of a photograph, likeness, testimonial, or other promotional content will be subject to any consent required by applicable law.
Sponsor may disqualify entries or entrants reasonably determined to have violated these Official Rules, submitted false information, manipulated the referral system, interfered with the entry process, or engaged in fraud or abusive conduct.
Sponsor is not responsible for entries or notifications that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or undelivered because of technical problems outside its reasonable control.
If fraud, a system failure, or another event beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially compromises the fairness or operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the affected portion, subject to applicable law. Where reasonably possible, Sponsor will select the winner from eligible entries received before the disruption.
Material changes will be announced on the Sweepstakes page. Sponsor will not change the rules solely to disadvantage valid entries already received.
To the extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize.
Nothing in these Official Rules excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Sponsor makes no additional warranties concerning the tickets or event beyond those required by law. Event operations and admission are controlled by the event organizer, venue, and ticket issuer.
If an entry’s ownership is disputed, Sponsor may consider the authorized account holder of the submitted email address and request additional evidence of identity.
An authorized account holder is the person assigned the email address by the provider responsible for that account. Ownership of an email account alone does not establish eligibility or entitlement to the prize.
These Official Rules are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from the Sweepstakes will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Sacramento County, California. This provision does not require arbitration or waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
After verification and acceptance, Sponsor may announce the confirmed winner on the Sweepstakes page or Phoong Law’s official social media accounts.
To request the winner’s name and city or ask questions about the Sweepstakes, contact Phoong Law through the contact information published on its official website within 30 days after the Entry Period ends.
This Sweepstakes is sponsored solely by Phoong Law Corp. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform used to promote it, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube. Entry information is provided to Sponsor.
To the extent permitted by law, entrants release those platforms from claims arising from this Sweepstakes.
