The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. No purchase necessary to enter or win. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, follow all onscreen instructions to complete and submit the online entry form ("Primary Entry"). You can earn Additional Entries by completing any of the bonus actions shown on the entry page, and by sending the Sweepstakes page to a friend age 18 or older by following the onscreen instructions. A referred friend must enter the Sweepstakes through your referral link for you to receive the additional entry.
SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: Entries must be received between 7:00 AM Eastern Time on October 14, 2026 and 11:45 PM Eastern Time on October 20, 2026. Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online, including the Sponsor's privacy policy.
PRIZE & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"): One (1) winner will receive an ebook copy of one of Katy Eeten's three Christmas novellas — Christmas in Meadow Creek, First Class Christmas, or Wrong Turn Christmas — chosen by the winner. Approximate Retail Value: $10.00 USD. Maximum ARV of all prizes: $10.00 USD. The prize is provided and delivered by the guest author. No substitutions except if the prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. The prize is not redeemable for cash and is non-transferable.
ODDS: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The random drawing will be conducted on or about October 21, 2026 by a representative of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final. The winner will be notified by email and will be required to confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days of notification, or an alternate winner will be selected. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, if a notification is returned as undeliverable, if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or if the winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. The prize will be delivered within 30 days after the winner confirms acceptance.
The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes and for any incidental expenses not specified here. Entry and acceptance of the prize constitute permission to use the winner's first name and general location for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Limit: one prize per household. The prize is guaranteed to be awarded.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Participating entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, and release, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor, the featured guest author, and the platform used to administer this Sweepstakes, as well as their employees, officers, directors and agents, from all claims and liability relating to their participation, acceptance, and use or misuse of the prize. The winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or use of the prize. The Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the offer, the administration of the Sweepstakes, or the announcement of the prize. The Sponsor makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, as to the quality, condition, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of the prize.
DISPUTES AND ENTRY INTEGRITY: In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the email address submitted at the time of entry — the natural person assigned that email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the associated domain. Entries that have been tampered with or altered, and mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro, bot or other automated device, are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible or incomplete entries; (ii) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, or any technical, network, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunction, or any failure to receive entry information on account of technical problems or internet congestion; or (iii) any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to participating in the Sweepstakes.
Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. The Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules, and to cancel the Sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted, selecting the winner from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Any attempt to deliberately damage, tamper with or vandalize the Sweepstakes website, or to interfere with the operation of the Sweepstakes, may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
GOVERNING LAW: This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. By participating, entrants agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes shall be litigated only in courts sitting in Kentucky, USA.
PRIVACY: Personal information collected from entrants will be used by the Sponsor and by the platform administering the Sweepstakes for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and as otherwise permitted by the Sponsor's privacy policy and the platform's privacy policy and terms of service.
