OFFICIAL RULES: The Great Canadian Pedalboard 2025 Contest

By submitting an entry to this Contest (the “Contest”), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, and that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.


ELIGIBILITY:

The Contest is open to all residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older as of the draw date. Employees of Rig Hacker Pedalboards (the “Sponsor”), its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, distributors, and merchants involved with this Contest, as well as their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household, are not eligible to enter or win. This Contest is governed by Canadian law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.


HOW TO ENTER:

To enter the Contest, follow all on-screen instructions to complete and submit the online entry form (“Primary Entry”) between May 1, 2025, and June 30, 2025 (the “Contest Entry Period”). Entrants may also earn Additional Entries by sharing the Contest page with friends (aged 18 or older) using the referral system provided on-screen. The referred friend must enter the Contest using the provided referral link for the Additional Entry to count.

All entrants must correctly answer a skill-testing question as a condition of eligibility to win. Only those entries with a correct answer to the skill-testing question will be considered for selection. The random draw from eligible correct entries will occur on July 1, 2025.

By entering, all participants agree that their contact information will be shared with all participating businesses. Entrants are free to unsubscribe from any or all email contact lists at any time following the announcement of the draw.


PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”):

Maximum ARV of all prizes: $8,000 CAD. Prize includes: The Great Canadian Pedalboard 2025. If the winner is unable to accept the prize, it will be forfeited and an alternate eligible winner may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable, except at Sponsor’s discretion. No cash alternatives will be offered.


ODDS:

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received with correct answers to the skill-testing question during the Contest Entry Period.


WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

A random draw from all eligible, correct entries will be conducted on or about July 1, 2025, by a representative of the Sponsor. Winners will be notified via email and may be required to confirm prize acceptance and complete a Declaration of Eligibility and a Liability/Publicity Release within 7 days of notification. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or fails to meet all eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner.

In the case of a minor winner (under 18 in their province of residence), the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.


GENERAL TERMS:

Sponsor and its affiliates assume no responsibility or liability for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and pursue all legal remedies.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Contest if any fraud, technical failure, or other factor beyond its control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

Entry and acceptance of a prize constitute permission to use winner’s name, city/province, and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

Limit one prize per household. Prizes are guaranteed to be awarded. If Rig Hacker Pedalboards goes out of business, the final year of business will be the last year of prize fulfillment. If Rig Hacker Pedalboards is acquired or merged, continued prize fulfillment is at the discretion of the new owner(s).


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

By entering, participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor and all affiliated entities from any liability arising from participation, use or misuse of any prize. The Sponsor makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, about the prize's quality, condition, or fitness for purpose.


ARBITRATION:

This Contest shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any and all disputes arising out of or relating to this Contest shall be adjudicated exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

To request a list of winners, please contact the Sponsor via the official Contest platform after July 5, 2025.
