By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions regarding the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor is Jeffslodigarden. KingSumo provides the entry platform and is not the Sponsor.
The Sweepstakes is open to individuals residing in the United States who are at least 21 years old. Employees of the Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and distributors or merchants involved with this Sweepstakes, as well as their immediate family members and people living in their households, are not eligible.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. The Sweepstakes is subject to applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Submit the online entry form on the Sweepstakes page with your email address. You must click the confirmation link in the email from KingSumo for your entry to be confirmed.
During the Sweepstakes Entry Period, you may earn bonus entries for the random-draw prize by completing the bonus actions shown on the Sweepstakes page. Clicking the Facebook bonus action earns the entries displayed for that action. To qualify for the Weight Master Prize, you must also submit a valid weight guess as described below.
You may earn six additional entries for each eligible friend who enters through your unique referral link and confirms their entry.
WEIGHT GUESS
Each eligible entrant with a confirmed Sweepstakes entry may submit one guess, as a whole number of pounds (no decimals), by commenting on the Sponsor’s official Facebook post announcing the Sweepstakes. The comment must be posted during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Guesses posted on Instagram or on other Facebook posts will not count. If an entrant posts more than one guess, only their first guess will count. Edited or deleted comments are invalid.
At the end of the Sweepstakes Entry Period, the Sponsor will weigh the pumpkin using an accurate scale. The Weight Master Prize will be awarded to the eligible entrant whose valid guess is closest to the pumpkin’s measured weight. If two or more guesses are equally close, the guess posted earliest, based on the Facebook comment timestamp, will win. If the timestamps are identical, the Sponsor will randomly select the winner from those tied entrants.
If the selected entrant is ineligible, cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required time, or forfeits the prize, the next-closest eligible guess will be considered. The same tie-break rules will apply when determining an alternate winner.
The Sweepstakes begins at 2:30 PM Pacific Time on October 8, 2026, and ends at 2:30 PM Pacific Time on October 15, 2026. Entries and weight guesses must be submitted within this period.
Total ARV of all prizes: $40. All prizes include free shipping. Because the seeds need time to dry and be prepared, please allow approximately one month for the prize packages to be prepared before shipment.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for applicable taxes and any expenses not specifically listed as included.
The Sponsor will select the Grand Prize winner by random drawing from all eligible, confirmed entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. The Sponsor will conduct the drawing on or about October 19, 2026.
The Weight Master Prize will be awarded to the eligible entrant whose valid guess is closest to the pumpkin’s actual weight, as determined under the Weight Guess rules above. This prize is not selected by random drawing.
The Sponsor will notify potential winners by email. Winners must respond within seven days of notification and may be required to confirm acceptance and eligibility. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond in time, is ineligible, or cannot accept or receive the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. The Weight Master Prize is awarded based on the eligible guesses and the pumpkin’s actual weight.
This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Texas, USA. without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. By participating, entrants agree that any and all disputes arising out of or relating in any way to this Sweepstakes shall be litigated only in courts sitting in Texas, U.S.A.
The personal information collected from each entrant in the course of the Sweepstakes will be used by KingSumo for the purposes of administration of the Sweepstakes and as otherwise permitted in accordance with KingSumo’s Privacy Policy. Email addresses will not be used by the Sponsor in any way other than for the administration of the prize. Please see KingSumo’s Terms of Service for more information.
These rules have been modified by the Creator of this giveaway "Backyard Pumpkin Weigh Off". Sumo Group, Inc. (d.b.a. "KingSumo") accepts no legal liability or responsibility for errors, falsities, or unfulfilled winnings due to the Creator.
