Ambassador Cruise Line Cruise Passenger Competition 

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Ambassador Cruise Line prize of a cruise for two people on board the Ambience, departing on February 24, 2024 from Sydney to Singapore, in a Cat 9 Superior Twin OceanView. 

1.      Promoter

The Promoter is Cruise Passenger (Cruise Media Australasia PTY LTD; 33 164 325 866; Suite 206, Level 2, 46a Macleay Street Potts Point 2011 NSW Australia) and the prize shall be provided by Ambassador Cruise Line is a trading name of Ambassador Cruise Holidays Limited. Ambassador Cruise Holidays Limited is a company registered in England and Wales. Registered number: 13299365


2.    The Prize (“Prize”)

The winner will receive a cruise on board Ambience with the value of of AUD$7,696, departing on February 24, 2024 from Sydney to Singapore for two (2) adults with accommodation in Cat 9 Superior Twin OceanView. 


3. Promotion entry Period:

Promotion entry period commences AEST on 08 of September 2023 and concludes on 13 October 2023. 


4.   Entrants

  1. Entry is open to Australian residents only who are 18 years and over. Entry is via an online form.
  2. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. Employees of Ambassador Cruise Line and/or any of its Group Companies, subsidiaries, affiliates (including any relatives, family members and/or household members) and anyone else professionally associated with this Promotion are expressly excluded from entering.
  3. Only one entry per entrant will be accepted. Multiple email addresses for the same person will not be permitted or accepted.
  4. Entries must be received before the Closing Date. Late, incomplete, invalid and/or corrupt submissions will not be accepted and will be disqualified. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter and/or Ambassador Cruise Line for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. 
  5. It is a condition of entry that the winner (and their travel companion) must agree to: (i) take part in any and all activities determined by Ambassador Cruise Line including, without limitation, video filming and/or publicity relating to this competition; and (ii) be available to travel on the Prize sailing date.



  1. Selection of Winner(s)
  2. The winner will be chosen at random by Cruise Passenger at 10am on October 16, 2023 at Cruise Passenger’s office 46a Macleay St, Potts Point, 2011, from valid entries received before the Closing Date and the winner will be notified by Cruise Passenger, by email (to the email provided as part of their entry), within 21 days of the draw. The winner will be published in Cruise Passenger eNewsletter on Friday October 20, 2023.
  3. If the winner does respond or cannot be contacted, a redraw will occur on Friday November 10 at 10am 2023 at Cruise Passenger’s office 46a Macleay St, Potts Point, 2011, and posted in the Cruise Passenger eNewsletter on Friday November 17. 
  4. The winning email notification will include instructions on how/by when the winner is to claim their Prize and provide passenger details, where applicable. Failure to claim and/or provide such details within the required time frame may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
  5. The Prize cruise must be booked no later than 30 days after the winner has been notified that they have won the Prize. 
  6. In the event that a winner declines the Prize, and/or is unable to take the Prize, and/or fails to respond to the Ambassador Cruise Line’s email(s) within the required time frame and/or does not receive the Ambassador Cruise Line’s email for whatever reason, and/or does not respond to the Promoter’ email in the prescribed manner, and/or does not claim/take the Prize, and/or is ineligible or otherwise unable to claim the Prize, the winner shall forfeit the Prize and the Ambassador Cruise Line shall have no liability to the winner and reserves the right in its absolute and sole discretion to select another winner.


  1. Travel and Health Requirements
  2. The winner(s) and, where applicable, their travel companions, will be responsible for ensuring and checking that they (i) hold any and all documentation required in order to travel including, without limitation, ensuring that they are in possession of valid passports with an expiry date no earlier than six months after the completion of the Prize cruise and apply and/or have any visas and/or other permits required for travel; and (ii) have adequate and comprehensive travel insurance (evidence of which shall be provided to Ambassador Cruise Line if requested); and (iii) comply with any and all health and other requirements for travel including, without limitation, any required vaccinations, heath certifications and/or permits.
  3. Prior to departure, the winner(s) are required to check, without limitation, the Ambassador Cruise Line website, the FCDO travel advice website and the equivalent country websites of the countries being visited as part of the cruise, for the latest advice and information about travel documentation, procedures, facilities, policies, health and safety information and vaccination & health requirements.

(i) The Prize will not include flights (whether national and/or international), return transfers to/from the overseas airport and the port of embarkation/disembarkation, any packages on the cruise (including, without limitation, any drinks, wi-fi and/or pre-paid tips packages), wi-fi, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, shore excursions, travel insurance, transfers, visas, items of a personal nature, meals (other than featured in the itinerary), laundry, telephone calls, additional nights or upgrades etc. all other incidental and ancillary costs incurred by the winner and/or guests as a direct or indirect result of taking the Prize.*Cruise value is based on cruise on board Ambience with the value of of AUD$7,696, departing on February 24, 2024 from Sydney to Singapore for two (2) adults with accommodation in Cat 9 Superior Twin OceanView. Value for two (2) adults twin share accommodation in a Balcony Stateroom, including taxes and fees. Prize value correct as of 30 August, 2023.
  3. Holiday sailings means Christmas, New Year and Easter sailings.


  1. The Prize is subject to availability 


  1. By entering this Promotion, entrants are considered to have agreed, without limitation, to these terms and conditions and Ambassador Cruise Line’s Booking Terms and Conditions and Cruise Passengers Terms and conditions.
  2. The Prize is subject to these terms and conditions and Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right, to amend and/or update, without limitation, these terms and conditions and/or the Ambassador Cruise Line Booking Conditions, conditions of carriage and/or privacy policy(ies) at any time.
  3. The winner(s) must submit all the necessary information in the manner prescribed and by the dates prescribed, to be entitled to claim their Prize. Failure to provide such information shall entitle Ambassador Cruise Line to withdraw the Prize and select another winner. 
  4. The fulfilment of the Prize will be managed by Ambassador Cruise Line.
  5. Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:
  6. (i) cancel, suspend and/or modify this Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond Ambassador Cruise Line’s reasonable control impairs the integrity and/or proper functioning of this Promotion;
  7. (ii) reject any entries and/or disqualify any entrants, at any time, if Ambassador Cruise Line in its sole and absolute discretion deems that there has been or may be, whether intended or otherwise, any: (a) breach of any of these terms and conditions; and/or (b) infringement or potential infringement of any third party rights and/or intellectual property; and/or (c) defamation or potential defamation of any persons, companies, intellectual property, institutions, cultures or similar; and/or (d) offence or potential offence caused, howsoever arising; and/or (e) breach of any laws, regulations, codes (including moral codes), uses, guidelines and/or any other generally accepted etiquette rules required (without limitation) from any internet users, platforms, providers, hosts and/or sites and/or similar.
  8. The Prize is as described, is not transferable, cannot be amended or varied, has no cash value (and cannot be exchanged for cash) and cannot be re-sold. 
  9. Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change the Prize and/or substitute any or all of the Prize with an alternative Prize. 
  10. The winner(s) may be required to take part in publicity resulting from the Promotion. Ambassador Cruise Line shall be entitled to make use, in any way and/or through any medium, of any comments provided and/or made by the winner(s) including, without limitation, those provided by the winner(s) on any social media sites and/or Ambassador Cruise Line owned marketing channels (including the Ambassador Cruise Line website), for the benefit of promoting Ambassador Cruise Line and its Group and/or associated companies, subject to the applicable policies of the relevant social media sites and/or marketing channels. 
  11. In entering the Promotion, entrants agree not to post any detrimental content on any social media platform and/or in any other mediums.
  12. The determination and decision of Ambassador Cruise Line on all matters shall be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into (including as to the winner(s)). 
  13. Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to: (i) disqualify any entrant, claimant, competitor or their guest whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the Promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct; (ii) declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including without limitation any error(s) on any website and/or app of Ambassador Cruise Line and/or in any published materials, regardless of format) and/or where there have been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the Promotion that materially affects the result of the Promotion and/or the number of entrants, claimants and/or the value of claims; (iii) add to or waiver any rules and/or terms and conditions at any time; and/or (iv) cancel the Promotion or any part of it, at any stage, in the event of circumstances beyond Ambassador Cruise Line’s reasonable control.
  14. Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or amend/modify this Promotion and/or the Prize, or any part of it and at any time, if any fraud, technical failures, change in applicable law(s) or any other factor beyond Ambassador Cruise Line’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Ambassador Cruise Line in its sole and absolute discretion. 
  15. Insofar as is permitted by law, Ambassador Cruise Line, its employees, agents, subcontractors and/or or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable for: (i) any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), damage, cost, compensation and/or other expense which is suffered and/or sustained by any party (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion and/or in accepting and/or using the Prize [and/or its contents and/or their ingredients]; and/or (ii) any personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up/accepting the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of Ambassador Cruise Line and/or , its employees and, where it is responsible for them, its agents and/or distributors. The winner(s)’s statutory rights shall not be affected. 
  16. The winner shall be liable for complying with any fiscal and/or tax requirements (including, without limitation, any benefit-in-kind declarations and/or calculations) and other legal obligations and/or requirements arising out of, or in connection with, the Prize.
  17. This Promotion shall be subject to the laws of New South Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the New South Wales Courts.

  2. Any personal information and/or data provided during the entry process (including, without limitation, the entrant’s name) must be valid, up to date and truthful. Ambassador Cruise Line accepts no responsibility or liability for any incorrect, false or fictitious personal information provided to it. 
  • Ambassador Cruise Line shall use the entrants’ personal data (including, without limitation, the winner and their companion’s names, addresses, emails) for the purpose of administering and/or promoting this Promotion. If entrants wish to opt-out at any time by writing to Ambassador Cruise Line at the address below, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message received. 
  1. Subject to Ambassador Cruise Line’s privacy policy and these terms and conditions, the winner(s) title, surname and county: (i) may be announced on the Ambassador Cruise Line Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram accounts, as well as on its blog and in other marketing material for a period of 6 months following the announcement of the winner of the Promotion; and (ii) can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Marketing Department, Ambassador Cruise Line is a trading name of Ambassador Cruise Holidays Limited. Ambassador Cruise Holidays Limited is a company registered in England and Wales. Registered number: 13299365, within 30 days of the Closing Date. By entering into the Promotion, the winner(s) agree to their details being shared for this purpose. 

  3. By entering the competition, entrants agreed to opt in and receive marketing communications from Ambassador Cruise Line and Cruise Passenger.
