How it works
Beginning at 12:00:00 a.m. EDT on January 1, 2023 and ends at 11:59:59 pm EST on February 28, 2023 (“Giveaway Entry Period”) Lubrication Specialties, LLC (“Sponsor”) is giving away a number of specific prizes (each a “Giveaway”), these terms and conditions will apply. Qualifying purchases of two (2) bottles of one (1) quart EDT+ Winter Defense (EDTWAG1QT) at participating Pilot Flying J locations will receive 800 myRewards Plus™ points and a QR code on their receipt (the “QR Code”) to enter for a chance to win the stated specific prize(s). To receive the 800 myRewards Plus™ points, you must swipe your myRewards® card, and present your myRewards® card, barcode in myRewards Plus™ app, or phone number associated with myRewards® account at time of purchase. Purchases and myRewards Plus™ points are subject to the terms and conditions found at https://pilotflyingj.com/terms-and-conditions. The Giveaway Entry Period will be measured using the Eastern time zone. Entries are only valid if submitted within the applicable Giveaway Entry Period. All material(s) submitted to Sponsor in connection with any Giveaway shall be referred to herein as the “Entry,” and the person submitting the Entry shall be referred to herein as the “Entrant.” Sponsor will retain ownership and the right to reuse or repurpose any Entry, including photo and video content, on any form of digital or social media, including but not limited to Sponsor’s social media channels, website and blog. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply.
Who may enter
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the continental United States who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, have a valid e-mail address at the time of entry, and who reside in the United States. Employees of Lubrication Specialties, LLC, and its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such employees, whether or not related are not eligible.

Each Entry consists of:
Scanning the QR Code, following the link, and filling out the entry form therein. On the entry form, you will provide your full legal name, email address, birthdate, and phone number;
OR
Hand printing your name, mailing address, day and evening phone numbers, email address and birthdate on a 3”x5” piece of paper (postcard size) and mailing it with proper postage to Hot Shot’s EDT+ Sweepstakes, 3975 Morrow Meadows Drive, Mount Gilead, OH 43338. Limit: One (1) request per envelope. All mail-in requests must be handwritten. All mail-in requests must be postmarked by February 28, 2023 and received by March 6th, 2023. All requests become the exclusive property of Sponsor, and none will be returned. Proof of sending or photo will not be deemed to be proof of receipt.
EACH ENTRANT MAY ENTER NO MORE THAN ONCE AND MAY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EITHER ENTRY METHOD LISTED ABOVE.
One (1) Grand Prize winner shall receive a $250 Visa Gift card. Two (2) First Prize winners shall each receive a $100 Visa Gift Card. Winner(s) are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible Entries and is estimated at 2000:1; YOUR ODDS OF WINNING WILL NOT INCREASE BY PURCHASING HOT SHOT’S SECRET OR ANY OTHER BRAND OF PRODUCT. Winner(s) will be notified via phone and/or email and may be asked to provide additional information so prize can be mailed/shipped via common carrier.
Pilot Travel Centers LLC (“Pilot”) is not a sponsor of this promotion.
By entering this Sweepstakes, all Entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor and its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder.
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to Sweepstakes Entries or entry forms; or alteration of Entries or entry forms. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any Entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, human errors of any kind, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Entrants' or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation, uploading or downloading of any materials related to in this Sweepstakes.
THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Entrants agree that this Sweepstakes shall be subject to and governed by the laws of Ohio and the forum for any dispute shall be in Morrow County, Ohio, United States of America. To the extent permitted by law, the right to litigate, to seek injunctive relief or to make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this Sweepstakes are hereby excluded and any Entrant expressly waives any and all such rights. Certain restrictions may apply. An Entry are void if the Entry is incomplete, inaccessible or blocked, corrupted, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error or obtained through fraud or theft.
By entering, Entrants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and (b) that all federal, state/provincial/territorial, and local taxes, fees and surcharges and taxes (whether foreign or domestic, and including income, sales, and import taxes) on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
In the event that the selected winner(s) of any prize is/are ineligible, cannot be traced or does/do not respond within ten (10) days to a winner notification as required by the “Sweepstakes Prizes” rules above, or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another Entrant.
Sponsor reserves the right to verify the validity and originality of any Entry and/or Entrant (including an Entrant's identity and address) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Official Rules or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.
Winners list
Entrants are responsible for complying with these Official Rules. Winners will be chosen vial random selection using KingSumo or similar media contest software. Prize winners will be selected in descending order of value.
Data privacy
Entrants agree that personal data, especially name and address, may be processed, shared, and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the Sweepstakes and any other purposes outlined in these Official Rules. The data may also be used by Sponsor in order to verify the Entrant's identity, postal address, and telephone number or to otherwise verify the Entrant's eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes. Entrants have the right to access, review, rectify, or cancel any personal data held by Sponsor by writing to Sponsor at 3975 Morrow Meadows Drive, Mount Gilead, OH 43338. Personal data will be used by Sponsor and its affiliates exclusively for the purposes stated herein.
NOTICE TO INDIVIDUALS: REMOVAL FROM MAILING LIST: Any individual (or other duly authorized person) may elect to exclude the name and address of that individual from all lists used by Sponsor to mail skill contests or sweepstakes. To elect to have an individual's name excluded from all such lists, submit a removal request in writing to: Hot Shot’s Secret Attn: Digital Marketing 3975 Morrow Meadows Drive, Mount Gilead, OH 43338. This notification system may be used to prohibit mailing of all skill contests or sweepstakes by Sponsor to such individual.
These rules have been modified by the Creator of this giveaway "EDT+ Pilot Flying J 2023 Promotion". Sumo Group, Inc. (d.b.a. "KingSumo") accepts no legal liability or responsibility for errors, falsities, or unfulfilled winnings due to the Creator.
