My name is Shaunta Grimes. I’m a writer and a teacher. My novels have been published by Penguin and Macmillan and I run an online writing school called Ninja Writers. My favorite thing is to help new writers bring their stories to life.

This week I’m giving away one all day coaching session. We’ll log into Zoom and get to work for eight full hours. Here are a few things we could use that time for:

Live editing. This is my favorite, favorite thing to do. I’ll screen share your manuscript and edit for you. But I’ll talk you through what I’m doing, so that you’re learning as we go.
Book coaching. If you’re writing a book and you’re stuck or you’re just not happy with your progress, we can spend a day working on why and fixing any problems with your plot or your prose.
Next step support. Let’s spend a day writing your query letter and synopsis together, and organizing your agent or publisher search.
Specific help. If you’re struggling with some aspect of writing (for example, dialogue, pacing, voice, plotting, etc.) we can organize a full-day intensive around that.
Short nonfiction. In eight hours we can plan and outline a short nonfiction book for you to write and publish, along with a marketing plan for it.
Income streams. We can work together to identify an income stream for you, then do the work to make it a reality including making a plan, creating a list of action steps, and doing some of the work together.
